"Confluence of Mysterious Origin charms and entirely persuades with its instructional visions: “Reject the architecture surrounding / your wild beating heart.” In this gorgeous aviary we are lucky to get to fall deep under the influence of William D. Waltz’s kinetic and imagined world, replete with its sea cows, lodestars, cormorants and trees. “Atmosphere speaks a language we pretend not to hear” he writes, but this keen capsule speaks such oracular truths that we cannot afford not to hear them." —Amanda Nadelberg

William D. Waltz is the author of Zoo Music, which won the Slope Editions Book Prize. His second book of poetry, Adventures in the Lost Interiors of America, won the Cleveland State University Press Open Competition in 2012. Waltz is the editor of Conduit magazine.
